In December of 2016, we received an early Christmas gift. Barberitos, a chain of fast-casual Southwestern restaurants, chose andDonovan to be their AOR. With 48 locations throughout the Southeast, Barberitos prides itself on the quality of their handcrafted burritos, tacos, quesadillas and much more.
Barberitos is looking to us to help increase sales and develop consistent branding and messaging for all of of their locations. Additionally, the brand wants to create more awareness and foster more engagement across their social platforms, appealing to a larger demographic while increasing their number of likes and followers.
In the months since we began this partnership, andDonovan has spearheaded projects spanning digital and traditional advertising, as well as social media. We established Barberitos’ brand positioning and tagline— We make it fresh, you make it yours, partnered with Carlos Garcia Studios to do a photoshoot of their most popular items, completely redesigned their menu boards, concepted and created quarterly promotion toolkits to showcase their brand in a new and refreshing way, launched Google Maps ads targeting consumers looking for dining options, and upped their social media game.
And speaking of social media, since bringing us aboard, Barberitos’ platforms have enjoyed a 20 percent increase in page likes, as well as increased engagement and improved brand awareness.
In a hyper-competitive category, where nationwide sales are either down or softer than a tortilla, Barberitos continue to hold their own with year over year progress in most same-store sales.
